Well as soon as Thanksgiving was over the dolls made a list of everything they wanted to do for Christmas celebrations. The first order of business was setting up the Christmas tree.
"Maryellen! Put that ornament there." Josefina bossed. "I get to do the star this year!"
After all decorations had been set up, they gathered 'round to enjoy the beauty.
The following week the girls made gingerbread houses. Kirsten was especially proud of hers. Which one is your favorite?
Josefina and Maryellen had to go to a Christmas party with American Heritage Girls the following week. They brought a present for their good friend, Isabelle. They played silly games and ate huge cookies.
They strolled downtown to get a look of a local gingerbread competition.
"Wow, Josefina." Gushed Maryellen. "Ours didn't come out like these. Maybe next year we should try harder."
The next day Samantha started a sugar cookie and gingerbread decorating contest.
Maryellen had an iceskating Christmas performance that weekend. She was super excited and wanted every doll to attend.
Christmas Eve was finally here and the dolls had a candlelight service planned. Everything went lovely.
All the dolls made presents for each other and exchanged them on Christmas. Kirsten made St. Lucia buns for everyone.
They indeed had a very Merry Christmas. How was yours?
