Gatlinburg Weekend Getaway

Gatlinburg Winter Getaway All dolls were excited when they heard that Josefina, Maryellen, and Kirsten were going to Gatlinburg TN. It was a little getaway from Friday to Sunday. They immediately left after co-op. 3 hours later the car stopped, and the dolls got out. Just then, Josefina realized that she had forgotten her suitcase.
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” wailed Josefina.
After she told the other dolls and Maryellen volunteered to give some clothes to her.
“Great, now I’ll smell like Scooter,” Josefina whined.
“Yahoo!” exclaimed Maryellen “we’re here.”
The dolls walked into the hotel.
The dolls headed to their room to get their jammies on. Since Josefina was tired, she went to bed, while the other dolls went downstairs and had some treats. When the dolls finished, they headed to their room to get some zzzzzz’s.

The next morning the dolls went golfing at Ripley’s Old Mac. Donalds Mini Golf.

“I got a hole in one for the 3rd time!” exclaimed Josefina jumping up and down.
Frustrated, Kirsten walked up, she swung just a little too hard and it plunked into the water.
“Ugg,” Kirsten groaned.
“I’ll get it,” called Maryellen.
She ran after the ball and handed it back to Kirsten. Thing went smoothly until the last hole.

Josefina was up first, she swung as hard as she could and got a hole in one. Kirsten was next, she closed her eyes, swung her club, and got a hole in one!
She almost fainted. “Wow, I can’t believe it!”
Maryellen was up last, she swung aaaaaannd didn’t make it in. She burst into tears. Kirsten whispered to Josefina. Josefina smiled and told her they knew how to cheer her up. That night they celebrated by going to the Comedy Barn. (Sorry we didn’t get any pictures. Got this one from the website itself.)

The dolls had a great time. They had some snacks and laughed until their sides hurt. They definitely recommend going. Before they knew it, it was time to go.
Early the next day Maryellen and Kirsten crept out of there room and headed to the indoor pool.

They played in the water until they got cold, so they dried off and played some games.

Maryellen was completely dry, so she started to sunbathe.
When the dolls got into the lobby, they saw Josefina walk into the elevator with a muffin in her hand.
“Oh well,” sighed Kirsten, “guess we’ll eat alone.”
After they ate and checked out, the dolls were riding in the car and Maryellen was looking out the window and suddenly she squealed, “Josefina, Kirsten, come quick! I see snow!

They stopped the car, Maryellen, and Kirsten had their pictures taken out in the snow.
Overall it was a great weekend.
