Meet Amelia

Ok, we know. It has been far too long since our last post. The dolls wanted to celebrate the rest of the Christmas season quietly and did not want to be bothered with writing blogs. They do the blogs as part of their writing assignments for homeschool. Some of the dolls are in 5th grade while others are in 3rd grade. There are a few younger dolls in kindergarten, but they don't contribute much except ideas for their outings and such. There are also a couple older ones who teach. Samantha and Kirsten are the oldest and try to control the rest of the dolls' shenanigans. Josefina is the oldest student. She is very well behaved compared to the others...mostly. They are all loved just the same.
Over the Christmas break a new doll arrived. Her name is Amelia. Not to be confused with the human Amelia. Though they both have brown pigtail braids and bangs.

"Hello, I am Amelia and I will tell you about myself. My favorite animals are my two llamas. Lucky has dragon wings and Lola is a ninja. My favorite food is pizza. My favorite colors are pink, green, and blue. My favorite outfit is my meet dress. My eyes are brown. My hair is brown and I put it in braids. My hobbies are sketching and doing hair. I am a detective and Lucky and Lola are my sidekicks and we solve mysteries. Once we solved a case with a mysterious bank robber that left no trace. Anyway, I can't wait to meet the other dolls. Do you think they'll like me?"
"Of course we'll like you," came a voice from behind.
Josefina and Maryellen came out from another room. "All dolls are welcome here...As long as we have room. But Audrey and Amelia, the human Amelia that is, always say there's enough room. The more the merrier."

Here's to starting a new year with more fun stories coming...as soon as it warms up a little...
